August 5 Legacy Planning and Ice Cream Social

Our information-rich programs offer a panel of speakers on a given theme related to aging in place, and SNAP’s August 5 info-expo session is no exception.

Joining us will be Elise Bajor from Jewish Family and Children’s Services, Shanelle Schmitz from Zack & Schmitz, PLC and Suzanne Morrison and Karen MacDonald from Interfaith Community Services.

Each panelist (or team) will offer insights related to our theme, “Legacy Planning for the Generations”:

  • Elise Bajohr will report on Health Surrogates and Solo Senior and the importance of “Getting the Medical Care You Want”;
  • Shanelle Schmitz will discuss the legal aspects of estate planning; and
  • Suzanne Morrison and Karen MacDonald will review advanced directives and events and resources from the End of Life Care Partnerships.

There will be time for questions, an information table, as well as SNAP’s annual ice cream social to cool you off and ease your spirit while learning about these important aspects of aging.

The community is invited to attend on August 5, from 2-3:30 PM at Lutheran Church of the Foothills Activity Room. For information, email: info@sunrisesnap.org
