SNAP’s core services of transportation, friendly visits, errands, occasional meals, caregiver relief, shopping assistance, and phone reassurance all help clients remain safe and independent at home as they age. These services may be temporary or long-term, depending on the needs of the individual.
All SNAP’s core services are provided free of charge by SNAP volunteers. A training program is mandated for volunteers prior to providing these services and is offered to new volunteers on a monthly basis. All volunteer drivers must provide a current driver’s license and evidence of auto liability insurance equal to the minimum limits required by the State of Arizona.
