SNAP’s core services of transportation, friendly visits, errands, occasional meals, caregiver relief, shopping assistance, phone reassurance all help clients remain safe and independent at home as they age.
These services may be temporary or long-term. A short training program is mandated for volunteers prior to providing these services and is offered to small groups of volunteers on a monthly basis. All drivers must provide a current driver’s license and auto liability insurance equal to the minimum limits required by the state of Arizona.
Core services, which are provided upon a client’s request and at no charge, are delivered by volunteers to various clients over a period of time or to the same client on a regular basis. For more about our services, visit our Client Information Page.
