Sunrise Neighborhood Assistance Program (SNAP) Board President, Mary Becker announced on Tuesday that the 11th annual Home and Garden Tour scheduled for April 5, 2020 has been cancelled over concerns about the spread of the Coronavirus.
“As an organization whose mission is focused on providing services and social programs to support seniors and disabled residents as they age in place, our top priority is the health and well-being of the senior adults living in our neighborhood,” said Ms. Becker. “We believe cancelling the event is the responsible action to take and absolutely the right thing to do. We are thankful to all of the sponsors and volunteers who were already gearing up for the annual event, understand their disappointment and look forward to seeing them next year.”
